En Plein Air
Nature is constantly evolving, shifting, transforming; an artist needs to embrace this process in order to breathe life into a given work of art. My larger scale sculptures are the result of many years experimenting, building, destroying, adapting and weathering. These massive endeavours have taken me on a journey through everything from welding, power tools and wilderness treks, to the slower process of composition, rendering and play. They are the visual narrative of my life and progression as an artist both in and out of studio.
