"My body is a tool that I wield on impulse and the canvas upon which I write."
--- Jennifer Peters
My personal emancipation came through a series of three stages; the first stage the trauma of getting lost in the wilderness at the age of sixteen years. Someone in my life was hurting me and this incident marked a permanent shift in the level of abuse they chose to dish out. The second shift was when I opened my mouth as a young adult to spew the ugly guts of my story, and the third, when I discovered my creative voice.
It is essential that an artist risk transparency; this process and whether or not they choose to share it will be different for everyone, but denying this reality is to deprive others of your authentic genius, whether this be in the field of medicine, law, business or otherwise. Pursue what gives you life and witness how it gives life to those who surround you.
Product Details:
Dibond metal prints are sprayed directly onto the white aluminum metal surface with state of the art equipment and can be mounted to any surface via the 3/4" deep inset frame. As there is no paper or canvas surface affixed to the surface, the UV-resistant inks will not fade, even if they are displayed out of doors. The gloss white metal, as opposed to the brushed clear aluminum, serves to preserve the vibrant palette of the original work.
