Limited Edition metal prints are sprayed directly onto the white aluminum surface with state of the art equipment and can be mounted to any surface via the 3/4" deep inset frame. As there is no paper or canvas surface affixed to the surface, the UV-resistant inks will not fade, even if they are displayed out of doors. The gloss white metal, as opposed to the gloss brushed clear aluminum, serves to preserve the true vibrant color of the original piece. Select pieces will be printed onto the clear aluminum as a chosen effect by the artist, so the metal surface will be visible through the lighter layers of the piece.
